The Board of Trustees of U of Illinois Facilities Planning and Programs hereby requests sealed bids for construction work on the the UIC Pavilion - Replace one Mammoth Air Handling Unit at the Chicago campus project.
Project Description
This project will replace existing Mammoth Air Handling Unit #4 located on North West corner of the office area. The work will include the demolition of the existing unit, removal of the existing curb, setting new curb, (re-roofing by Owner), setting new AHU, extending gas supply piping to the unit, updated electrical service, ductwork modifications, expansion of existing Delta Controls DDC system, and other minor system items; including complete building test and balance of the air side systems.

Bids will be received up to the hour of 2 p.m. prevailing time, on Thursday, April 15, 2004, for Division III: Heating and Piping; Division IV: Ventilation; Division V: Electrical; and Division VII: Temperature Control work at 1140 S. Bids will be received up to the hour of 2:00 PM local time, on Thursday, April 15, 2004. Immediately after closing time for receiving bids, they will be opened publicly and read.
Pre-Bid Conference
A pre-bid conference will be held in The Pavilion 1150 W. Harrison Street, Chicago, IL. 60612 at 10 a..m. prevailing time on Monday, April 5, 2004. Representatives of the owner and the architect/engineer will be present to answer questions regarding the project and bidding procedures. All prospective bidders are urged to attend.
