The Board of Trustees of U of Illinois Facilities Planning and Programs hereby requests sealed bids for construction work on the the Installation of a catalytic converter system at the Chicago campus project.

Project Description
The project consists of, but is not limited to, the retrofit of the existing converter housings serving engines #1 and #2 in the Co-Generation Facility Building. The installation of new catalyst beds, the retrofit of the engine exhaust ducktwork, the installation of two industrial process fans equipped with variable frequency drives, and the fan associated instrumentation.

Bids for Division III - Heating, A/C Temperature Control work will be received up to the hour of 10:00 a.m. prevailing time, on Tuesday, November 9, 2004. Submit all proposals to the Board of Trustees at:

Bids will be received up to the hour of 10:00 AM local time, on Tuesday, November 9, 2004. Immediately after closing time for receiving bids, they will be opened publicly and read.

Pre-Bid Conference
A pre-bid conference will be held in the Facilities Management, Physical Plant Building, 1140 South Morgan Street, Conference Room B16E, Chicago, Illinois at 10:00 a.m. prevailing time on Thursday, October 21, 2004. Representatives of the owner and the professional services consultant will be present to answer questions regarding the project and bidding procedures. All prospective bidders are urged to attend.
