The Board of Trustees of U of Illinois Facilities Planning and Programs hereby requests sealed bids for construction work on the the Phase 6 Infrastructure Improvements, Public Streets and Sangamon Street Park (UIC South Campus Development) at the Chicago campus project (Bid # BA698-703-99PH6).
Project Description
The Phase 6 Infrastructure Improvements project includes the construction of a public park between Sangamon Street and Morgan Street near 14th Place, roadway and streetscape improvements to 14th Place, Morgan Street, 15th Place, Peoria Street and Halsted Street, and improvements for service access on University property adjacent to Newberry Avenue.
Pre-Bid Conference
A pre-bid conference will be held at the South Campus Development Team Office, 1401 South Halsted Street, Chicago, IL 60607 at 10 a.m. prevailing time on Friday, May 21, 2004. Representatives of the owner and the architect/engineer will be present to answer questions regarding the project and bidding procedures. All prospective bidders are urged to attend.
