Project Description
The project consists of the interior addition of approx. 2,400 SF of third floor area within an existing 2- story lobby atrium in Building No 847. Work shall include, but not limited to, a new metal deck and concrete floor will be constructed above the existing lobby at an elevation level with third floor of Building 847. The structure will consist of fire-protected steel columns, beams and floor framing supported on new and existing foundations. New floor area to include new student study areas will include six Private Study Rooms. There will be two Breakout Rooms separated by an operable panel partition. All HVAC, temperature controls, fire alarm, fire protection, electrical and low voltage work associated with the space are included in the project.
A MANDATORY pre-bid meeting will be held in Location: UIC Rockford College of Medicine Campus, 1601 Parkview Avenue, S232 (North Dining Room), Rockford IL 61107 on 09/05/18 at 10am prevailing time. Representatives of the Owner and the Professional Services Consultant will be present to answer questions regarding the project and bidding procedures. All prospective bidders are REQUIRED to attend.
