Project Description
The East Wing of the Pharmacy Building, located at 833 S. Wood, Chicago, has an outdated roof that needs to be replaced. The existing roof is beyond its useful life and needs to be replaced. This work will be coordinated with the construction of the new mechanical AHU penthouse as part of project 924- C11013. In addition the north, east and south facades of the east wing will have the masonry tuckpointed as necessary to insure a waterproof exterior envelope. Windows will also need to be caulked from the outside to help reduce moisture penetration during rains. Exterior porcelain enamel duct shafts will be cleaned and resealed.
