Project Description
Renovate the Electrophysiology (EP) Lab 2001 to accommodate new single-plane Philips Healthcare imaging equipment. General work to include new lead-lined walls as required per the plan, new wall finishes throughout the room, wall-mounted equipment and casework, ceiling finishes, ceiling-mounted equipment and structural support, floor finishes, and reconfiguring the existing fire sprinkler system in the lab. Electrical work to include new lighting and lighting controllers, new clean power transformers, conduit and wiring, emergency power and data receptacles as required for the new lab. Plumbing work to include two (2) new sinks as indicated on the plan, new medical gas terminals as indicated on the plan, new emergency gas shut-off valves, and new WAGD to connect to the existing system. Additional plumbing work to include connecting compressed nitrogen to brakes on new equipment. Ventilation work to include upgrading the existing AHU to accommodate HEPA filtration, new ductwork to accommodate code-required air flow, new laminar flow terminals and ductwork to connect to existing system. This Project is located at: UIC Hospital, Building 949, 1740 W. Taylor Street, 2nd Floor, Room 2001.
