Divisions 36 and 39 have been deleted. Division 5-Electrical Work has been added. The bid opening has been extended to March 1, 2007. The pre-bid meeting is February 8, 2007 at the Construction Manager's job site trailer, 1420 South First Street, Champaign, IL 61820.

This project includes:
a. Furnish and install new South System, Broadcast Cabling System, Distributed Television System, and Security System;
b. Furnish and install six new traction elevators on the west and one new hydraulic elevator on the north;
c. Furnish, install and final connection of new Food Service equipment for the stadium on the west and north;
d. Temporary reconnection of the scoreboard control systems (relocated to the south end)throughout the facility for use during the 2007 season, and installation of new permanent control systems after the 2007 season.

This bid opening includes the following divisions: Division 5-Electrical Work, Division 9-Elevator, Division 47-Kitchen Equipment.
This project includes a project labor agreement that will be executed between the lowest responsive/responsible bidder and the East Central Building and Construction Trades Council. A copy of the project labor agreement is included in the project bid documents, General Project Requirements.
This project will be managed using the owner's web-based Construction Project Management System "PRZM".
Bid Document Sources
Bid documents have been prepared by HNTB Illinois, Inc, the professional services consultant. The bid documents may be obtained from Hunt Construction Group, Inc., 2450 South Tibbs Ave., Indianapolis, Indiana 46241, the construction manager,by depositing a check made payable to them in the amount of $300.

Each bidder shall prequalify with the owner in accordance with the General Instructions to Bidders (Document 00200).
All bidders shall be prequalified with the oner. New bidders that are not prequalified shall prequalify using the owner's web-based Contractor Annual Prequalification System (CAPS)- http://notes.ocp.uiuc.edu
A pre-bid meeting will be held on Thursday, February 8, 2007 at the construction manager's job site trailer, 1420 South First Street, Champaign, IL, 2:00 p.m. prevailing time. Representatives for the owner, the professional services consultant, and the construction manager will be present to answer questions regarding the project and bidding procedures. All prospective bidders are urged to attend.
Immediately after the closing time for receiving bids, all proposals will be publicly opened, read, and tabulated at Room 128, 1501 South Oak Street, Champaign, IL 61820. Noted errors, omissions and defects will be announced. Bids received after closing time will be returned unopened. The public opening and reading is for information only and is not construed as acceptance or rejection of any bid.
Bid Acceptance or Rejection
The owner reserves the right to reject any or all bids or any part thereof, to waive any informalities in the bidding, and to accept the bids deemed to be in the best interests of the owner after all bids have been examined and evaluated.
The successful bidder will be required to comply with all laws, statutes, regulations, ordinances, rulings or enactments of any governmental authority that are applicable to the work or to the project. The successful bidder shall pay prevailing wages and shall utilize equal employment opportunity hiring practices in connection with this project.
