Project Description
The Medical Sciences Building Carle Illinois College of Medicine project includes interior renovation work of the lower level mechanical and electrical room area, portions of the first floor, the entire second floor, and portions of the third floor totaling roughly 35,000 sf. The project includes new student team rooms, classrooms, lecture hall, offices, an anatomy lab, virtual reality lab, toilet rooms, and public spaces. The work includes new AHUs, electrical switchgear, elevator modernizations, masonry, aluminum windows, plaster, gypsum board, glazing, tiling, acoustical tile ceilings, environmental graphics, casework, carpet, paint, audio-visual systems, equipment, and furniture.

A MANDATORY pre-bid meeting will be held in Room 274 (Auditorium), Medical Sciences Building, 506 South Matthews Avenue, Urbana, Illinois 61801 on 10/09/18 at 9:30 AM prevailing time. Representatives of the Owner and the Professional Services Consultant will be present to answer questions regarding the project and bidding procedures. All prospective bidders are REQUIRED to attend.
