Project Description
Complete replacements of the existing fire alarm systems at four buildings: Foellinger Auditorium, English Building, National Soybean Research Center, and Madigan Lab. Work shall include demolition and new fire alarm systems, including initiation, automatic detection, and occupant notification. New systems shall integrate or supervise the existing building mechanical and fire protection (sprinkler) systems, as well as elevator and other indicated systems. New systems shall be manufactured by Siemens and shall Cereberus Pro Modular series per campus standard.
This Project is located at: Foellinger Auditorium (0007): 709 S. Matthews Avenue English Building (0044): 608 S. Wright Street National Soybean Research Center (NSRC, 0124): 1101 W. Peabody Drive Edward R. Madigan Lab (ERML, 0336): 1201 W. Gregory Drive.
A virtual pre-bid conference for all parties interested in bidding the project will be held at 10:00 AM on 12/15/21 through via Zoom 1.312.626.6799, Meeting ID: 845 0811 0976, Password: 1867 . Representatives of the Owner and the Professional Services Consultant will be present to answer questions regarding the project and bidding procedures. All prospective bidders are urged to attend.
