Project Description
This project will install two to three cooling tower cells, matching the existing CT-06 and CT-07 installed in the Phase 1 project, on the south perimeter of the North Campus Chiller Plant Roof. The project will include the new tower cells, the structure to support them and any and all systems and components to integrate the cooling towers into the existing plant condenser water system. The project will consider the findings and recommendations of a previous study completed in 2013 for the full buildout of cooling tower capacity for the plant. Additionally, it is the intent of the project to replace approximately 4,500 sq. ft. of the existing roof membrane in the south area of the existing roof.
This Project is located at: North Campus Chiller Plant, 305 North Mathews Avenue, Urbana, IL
