This Addendum provides RFI responses, a new Bid Form (00 40 00), clarifications to drawings, and updates specification and drawing information, only and does not alter the previously published bid date(s).
Addendum No.02 supplements and amends the project manual and the drawings and shall be taken into account in preparing this proposal and shall become a part of the contract documents. Bidders must acknowledge receipt of this addendum by listing the number and date, where provided, on the bid form (document provided by the contractor.) This addendum updates the specification and previously published bid dates. A new Bid Form (00 40 00 document) will be issued in a separate, future addendum.

Project Description
The project work shall include the renovation of the Richmond Studio. The work consists of interior wall demolition and reconfiguration of space to accommodate a television studio, control room, recording booth, equipment storage, and a combined newsroom/classroom visible from the studio. The scope will include at minimum, renovation of existing interior spaces including walls, doors, finishes and all associated Plumbing, Mechanical, Electrical and AV work. The existing building MEP systems will be reconfigured to serve the remodeled areas in addition to receiving new fixtures and finishes throughout. Sound control wall, door & glazing assembiles will be installed between the studio & classroom spaces. The project will be constructed in two phases. Phase 1 - summer 2023 Phase 2 - summer 2024 All work except installation of new AHU and final tie-ins to unit in mechanical room will occur in phase 1. Phase 2 will consist of removal of existing RTU at grade and installation and final connections of AHU in mechanical room.

A virtual pre-bid conference for all parties interested in bidding the project will be held at 10:00 AM via Zoom on 1/4/2023 through 1 312 626 6799, Meeting ID: 832 5178 4320, Password: 1867. A walk through of the site will occur at 2:00pm on 01/04/2023. Representatives of the Owner and the Professional Services Consultant will be present to answer questions regarding the project and bidding procedures. All prospective bidders are urged to attend.
