The University of Illinois at Chicago is seeking a Professional Services Consultant for a complete
remodeling of Stevenson Hall. The scope of the work will include, but is not limited to, review of recent building assessment report, and an analysis to help determine if the entire building should be remodeled or demolished and a new building constructed. As part of the analysis, conceptual phase
planning and partial schematic design for both options will be required. In addition, there is an existing geothermal field that will need to be analyzed to determine the spare capacity and whether additional wells or a separate field would be required to serve Stevenson Hall. The conceptualization phase will establish the scope of the work and a budget for both options. After a successful Conceptualization/Schematic Design phase, and following the University of Illinois Board of Trustees?approval, the PSC may be authorized to proceed with the ensuing phase(s) of design development documents, bid documents, bid/award, construction administration, and warranty.
