Project Description
The College of Engineering is in need of a new facility primarily for the Computer Science Department. The new facility will include auditoria and lecture halls, classrooms, dry laboratories, faculty and staff offices, student organization spaces, special program spaces, and social and collaboration spaces. The project will be designed to LEED Gold standards and seek LEED certification. The Conceptualization Phase will determine the building design and will confirm the construction budget for the project. After successful Conceptualization Phase, and following the University of Illinois Board of Trustees approval, the Professional Services Consultant may be authorized to proceed with ensuing phase(s) of Design Development documents, Bid documents, Bid/Award, Construction Administration, and Warranty.
