Description of Project
This project consists of remodeling of the third floor of the Medical Sciences Building for the Research Resources Center. The scope of the work includes upgrading the electrical and mechanical infrastructure for the entire floor (approximately 10,000 sq.ft.), and the remodeling of approximately half of the floor into flow cytometry and other instrumentation labs.

Professional Services Consultant Submittal
Firms should submit four copies of the following: a letter of interest, a copy of its CDB prequalification letter, and a 255 form (use CDB SF 255 latest version) by Wednesday, November 10, 2004 addressed to:

Architect/Engineer selection will be consistent with the Architectural, Engineering, and Land Surveying Qualifications Based Selection Act (30 ILCS 535/1).

Minimum Qualifications
Only those firms which meet the following qualifications will be considered for selection:

  • Licensed to practice as an architect/engineer in the State of Illinois
  • Prequalified with the State of Illinois Capital Development Board
  • Registered and authorized to do business in the State of Illinois
  • Utilization of AutoCAD compatible system (with 3D modeling capabilities preferred)
