Project Description
The Board of Trustees of the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign requests statements of qualifications from Professional Services Consultants interested in providing the Urbana-Champaign campus with historic preservation architectural services on a retainer basis. Each agreement will be for one fiscal year (beginning July 1, 2017 and ending June 30, 2018) with options to annually renew for up to three additional fiscal year periods (July 1 through June 30) for a total of four years, with the opportunity to make adjustments in the scheduled hourly rates at each renewal. Historic Preservation architectural services required under this contract include, but are not limited to: feasibility studies, programming, program analysis, small rehabilitation projects and the production of Illinois Historic Preservation American Building Survey/Historic American Engineering Record Documentation. The Professional Services Consultant should have access to consulting resources that provide diverse experience and expertise to include but not be limited to: mechanical, electrical, plumbing, environmental, accessibility, roofing, envelope design, sustainability, signage, interior architecture, FF&E, elevator, IT, AV, instructional and research facilities, housing, sports/recreational, food services, and retail type projects, as may be necessary to successfully complete each historic preservation architect retainer project.
