Construction Management (CM) services are requested for the delivery of a new facility that provides a data processing center for the National Center for Supercomputing Applications (NCSA) to house the Blue Waters Petascale computer project. This new building will be approximately 95,000 gross square feet comprised of offices, storage and loading docks, data processing machine rooms, and supporting mechanical rooms. The facility is projected to require significant electrical power and at least 5,000 tons of cooling with chilled water, network, redundant power feeds, and other campus utility services. This building will be in continuous operation and will require Tier II or better reliability for network and high performance computer systems. The facility must be complete with enough advance time to install the computer(s) and for the building to be fully functional no later than 01 October 2010.
