for stage curtains for auditorium (Bid # AP1601). The University of Illinois at Springfield is seeking bids for stage curtains for Sangamon Auditorium. Due to the nature of the theatrical equipment contract on this project only firms who have adequate experience and resources shall be considered for the award of the project. Below is a list of pre-approved theatrical equipment contractors who are qualified to bid on this project. This listing is not meant to be exclusionary or restrictive in limiting bidders.

4. SECOA
5. Syrcuse Scenery and Stage Lighting Company
6. Brent Theatrical
7. I. Weiss, Inc.
8. Beck Studios

Contractors other than those listed above wishing to bid on this project are required to submit the below listed documentation. This information will be reviewed by the Department. Such a request for pre-approval shall be made no less than 10 days prior to the bid date and approval shall be made addenda prior to the bid. Firms must have been engaged in the fabrication of stage curtains and accesories for minimum of ten years. As evidence of this experience and ability, the firm shall be able to provide the following items if requested by the Department:

1. A listing of five or more completed jobs of similar or larger scope togerh with name, address and telephone number of the reference.

2. A brief description of fabricators including facilities, financial capabilities, and a description of key personnel.

Illinois Department of Human Rights (IDHR) eligibility number is required on all bid proposals.
