The University of Illinois Springfield (UIS) is evaluating the most effective means of awarding financial aid to potential students in order to increase the number of students who choose to enroll at UIS. Financial Aid leveraging is a statistical methodology of making the most effective use of the current scholarship dollars. The complicated nature of Financial Aid leveraging requires that UIS seek assistance from an outside firm to help with the modeling.
