The University awarded a contract for Tripos Software Suite.

University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign awarded a contract for Tripos Software Suite in the amount of $100,000 on Tuesday, July 1, 2003 . The Tripos software suite is the only product available that does QSAR calculations with COMFA. These calculations are essential to small molecule drug discovery research. This emergency/quick purchase was required due to a situation in which items available on the spot market or at discounted prices were available for a limited time such that sound business judgement mandated a purchase immediately to take advantage of the availability and price.
