There is a one-time purchase for the MRI and a term purchase of the 5 year maintenance agreement after installation and the one year warranty expires. I selected the one time transaction because the system will not allow me to put in the Quick Purchase term for the maintenance agreement of 10/1/2013 - 2/28/2020.
The University award process may be delayed up to thirty days as this award goes through a state approval process.

The University awarded a contract for Siemens 3 T Trio MRI Scanner and maintenance agree.
This emergency/quick purchase was required due to a situation in which items available on the spot market or at discounted prices were available for a limited time such that sound business judgment mandated a purchase immediately to take advantage of the availability and price.
