10 GBPS multi-service optical network ring
to
SBC DataComm, Inc.
for
$222,660.
This service will provide a 10 Gigabit Ethernet communication path between the TRECC facility at Dupage Airport and StarLight exchange point in downtown Chicago. SBC is currently the only communications provider with fiber onsite at the Dupage Airport, making them the only economically feasible source for this service. This service from SBC is part of the State of Illinois Contract #TCVS-1301, Network 2001. This agreement allows for three one-year renewal options. Renewals will be based on a continuing need, availability of funds, and reasonableness of pricing.
