an estimated $16,220,592.
This purchase is only economically available from a single source because the
compatibility of equipment, accessories, replacement parts, or service is a paramount consideration.
With convergence technologies able to provide larger/broader applications, the University will be exploring options for delivery of the next generation of voice services. This vendor has the existing equipment and services in place required to maintain infrastructure and service while exploring the availability of this new technology. No other vendor would be able to provide equipment and services compatible with the existing University communications infrastructure in the timeliness required to meet the University's needs without interruption of communication services to students, staff and faculty.
