Ammendment 3 - The dates for the mandatory on-site survey of telecommunication major distribution points (Nodes) by RFP Phase II participants has been changed from May 31st and June 1st, 2007 to June 7th and 8th, 2007.
Amendment II - The notification to all vendors of the status of continuation to Phase II of the RFP process, as noted in the Project Schedule Table I of the RFP, has been changed from Friday, May 18, 2007 to Friday, May 25, 2007.
Amendment I contains corrections and clarifications to the RFP as well as questions and answers from the mandatory pre-proposal conference held on Wednesday, May 2, 2007.

The University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign is interested in determining the best telecommunications solution to replace or upgrade the current Centrex system. This system serves the Urbana-Champaign campus and other off-site locations.
This request for proposal is being issued to pre-qualify potential vendors (due by 4:30 p.m. Urbana-Champaign local time on May 11, 2007) and to solicit time lines, technical documentation, and pricing for telecommunications equipment and technology platforms, including information on elements such as electronics, software, telephone sets and interfaces to major sub-systems such as call management and voice mail.
A mandatory pre-proposal conference will be held from 10:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. (Urbana-Champaign local time) on Wednesday, May 2, 2007 at the Holiday Inn, 1001 West Killarney Street, Urbana, IL 61801. Vendors are to limit attendees to a maximum of three individuals and are requested to provide their intent to attend the pre-proposal conference by email to Cathy Reisner at reisner@uiuc.edu no later than 4:00 p.m. (Urbana-Champaign local time) on Wednesday, April 25, 2007.
Construction and distribution facilities are not part of this RFP. An electronic version of all documents will be provided at the pre-proposal conference.
