University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign awarded a contract for hotel rooms and meals for the men's basketball team while competing in the NCAA Final Four Tournament in St. Louis, MO in the estimated amount of $61,670.16 on Wednesday, March 30, 2005 . This emergency/quick purchase was required due to a situation in which immediate action was needed to prevent any disruption in University services.
