The University awarded a contract for Purchase upgraded Timekeeping system to Kronos, Inc., Chelmsford, MA, for an estimated $84,657.
Purchase Upgraded Software and Kronos Timekeeper Licenses - Replace existing outdated software Kronos Time Keeper Central to Kronos Workforce Timekeeper for operational efficiency and appropriate number of corresponding timekeeper licenses (Est Cost $25,600)
Purchase Kronos Timekeeper Devices - Replace existing timekeepers (timeclocks) for University Illini Union. Exisiting timekeepers are not capable of utilizing new products features and employee self service. (Five timekeeper units total est cost - $12,500 )
Purchase Professional/Educational Services - Purchase upgrade services for upgrading Kronos Timekeeper Central version 4.3 to Kronos Workforce Central version 7, inlcuding setting up the test environment for product training and staff training on new capabilities. Services also include ongoing support package (Kronos Statement of Work est cost $39,500)
Re-occurring Costs: Maintenance and Service Agreement, including depot exchange on Kronos Timekeepers and Kronos Gold Support on Application (est annual cost $7,057) after year one.
The University has determined that this purchase is only economically available from this source because the procurement is software license, upgrade or maintenance.
