The University awarded a contract for development of a food resource website.
Collaboration, data collection and development of a customized food resource website for the state of Illinois to meet the needs of low income clientele during the food crises caused by COVID-19. This is funded by a SNAP-Ed grant.
This purchase is exempt from the usual selection processes of the Procurement Code because the procurement expenditure is for performing sponsored research and other sponsored activities under grants and contracts funded by the sponsor or by sources other than State appropriations. (30 ILCS 500 / 1-13(b)(8)) .
