Announcement of a Sole Source Purchase
This procurement has been cancelled
Published Thursday November 4, 2010
Transaction was done as quick purchase as provided by Section 20-30(d) of the Illinois Procurement Code.
First published Tuesday, October 26, 2010
The University intends to award a contract for Security Assessment software to Mu Dynamics, Sunnyvale, CA, for $63,992.
This purchase is only economically available from a single source because the University of Illinois initially purchased the proprietary hardware and operating system license suite believing this would be sufficient for their needs. However, upon further review it has been determined the additional software add-on licenses to be procured through this purchase are necessary to meet the project needs.
