The University awarded a contract for detailed modeling studies of the TARP systems to CH2M Hill, Chicago, IL, for $56,517.
The University has determined that this purchase is only economically available from this source because the
Metropolitan Water Reclamation District of Greater Chicago has engaged in a phased approach with the University of Illinois to conduct detailed modeling studies of the Tunnel and Reservoir Plan (TARP) systems. Now in the third phase of the modeling for the Calumet TARP system, the key objective is to characterize the hydrologic inputs to the system using the Illinois Urban Hydrologic Model developed by Dr. Joshua Cantone.
