The University awarded a contract for Qiagen Biorobot for mosquito disease testing.
This emergency/quick purchase was required due to a situation in which public health or safety was threatened.
The IL Natural History Survey performs mosquito disease testing under the State Used Tire Mgt. Fund that provides real-time disease information to State Agencies for disease prevention and control. The Biorobot broke on needed immediate replacement.
