The University desires the ability to streamline a number of administrative processes through the use of document management and automated data capture technology. We are interested in obtaining a existing proven turnkey application; complete in all details, for immediate delivery and installation. The vendor must provide a software solution that supports admissions, financial aid, registration, records, finance, human resources, and archiving functions. The desired solution must use Optical Character Recognition (OCR)/Intelligent Character Recognition (ICR) and Optical Mark Recognition (OMR) technology to capture, image, and integrate the University data from paper documents into the existing SunGard/SCT Banner administrative suite of student, financial aid, finance, HR, and advancement systems. The solution identified must be fully compatible with the SCT Banner ERP system and Xtender Solutions and meet University of Illinois security and architectural requirements. It must also function with a suite of software which tightly integrates SCT Banner with Documentum's Xtender Solutions.
