The University of Illinois Urbana-Champaigns department of Civil and Environmental Engineering is working on a project for Automated Driving Systems (ADS) that has the potential to improve safety throughout the roadway system. The goal of this project is to develop a systematic and scalable approach to the safe integration of cooperative automated vehicles (CAVs) into the nations transportation system. In order to achieve this goal, the university needs four autonomous vehicles.

This procurement may be contingent on Board of Trustees approval.
Vendor may expect payment thirty to sixty days after receipt of invoice, unless otherwise stated in the bid documents.
The contract(s) for this solicitation could exceed $50,000 annually.
This transaction is subject to the State Board of Elections registration and certification requirements of Public Act 095-0971.
