The Department of Materials Science and Engineering of University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign located at the Materials Research Laboratory 104 South Goodwin Avenue, Urbana, Illinois 61801 is requesting bids to furnish, deliver and install a new spark plasma sintering (SPS)/Field Assisted Sintering Technique(FAST)System. Please note the optional conference call scheduled for December 30, 2014 at 10:30 a.m. (local time), to discuss State Registration Requirements. Please see section A.5 for additional information.

The University reserves the right to accept or reject any and all responses or parts thereof. Vendor may expect payment thirty to sixty days after receipt of invoice, unless otherwise stated in the bid documents. Illinois Department of Human Rights (IDHR) eligibility number is required on all proposals, if applicable. This procurement may be contingent on Board of Trustees approval. There is no BEP goal for this procurement.

This transaction is subject to the State Board of Elections registration and certification requirements of Public Act 095-0971.
