The College of Veterinary Medicine is establishing the Chicago Center for Veterinary Medicine (CCVM) in the medical district of Chicago, with an anticipated opening of Spring 2009. The Chicago Center for Veterinary Medicine will be a practice with primary care and specialty care for pets, veterinary student and practitioner education, student recruitment, public outreach, recruitment of clients for clinical trials, and research collaborations with Chicago area institutions. This proposal includes the request for veterinary practice management software that seamlessly integrates with specified medical equipment for billing, inventory, lab testing, imaging, and is able to be customized for complete integration with hospital applications in the Veterinary Teaching Hospital in Urbana, Illinois. This proposal also includes equipment purchases of a digital radiographic system, chemistry analyzer, hematology analyzer, coagulation analyzer, urine analyzer, and diagnostic reagents.

Submit 5 copies of the response as defined in the specifications. The University reserves the right to accept or reject any and all responses or parts thereof. Vendor may expect payment thirty to sixty days after receipt of invoice, unless otherwise stated in the bid documents. This procurement will be contingent on Board of Trustees approval. Illinois Department of Human Rights (IDHR) eligibility number is required on all proposals.

This transaction is subject to the State Board of Elections registration and certification requirements of Public Act 095-0971.
