The University of Illinois has elected to purchase the development of a prototype colorimetric sensor array reader including one (1) fully functional unit with appropriate analysis and opertational software, design drawings for the mechanics in an electronic format, bill of materials and a list of components needed for the digital reader, and cost quotes for the prototype to be manufactured in quantity. The University of Illinois has been given the option to purchase four (4) additional systems within six months of the completion of the prototype developement.
The University award process may be delayed up to thirty days as this award goes through a state approval process.

Submit one (1) original and four (4) copies of the response as defined in the specifications. The University reserves the right to accept or reject any and all responses or parts thereof. Vendor may expect payment thirty to sixty days after receipt of invoice, unless otherwise stated in the bid documents. Illinois Department of Human Rights (IDHR) eligibility number is required on all proposals.

This transaction is subject to the State Board of Elections registration and certification requirements of Public Act 095-0971.
