The Veterinary Teaching Hospital (VTH) at the College of Veterinary Medicine provides care to companion and large animal patients. Upon the end of a patient?s life, owners of animals may elect to have their
animal's remains cremated, with the option of receiving their ashes (cremains) returned to them. This service is referred to as private cremation and is a very valued option for many of the VTH clients. Providing this service in a consistent, respectful, and quality controlled manner is critical. Service providers working with the VTH to provide this service must have the ability to pick-up the animal remains on a regular basis from the VTH, located in Urbana, IL. The service provider is responsible for communicating with the VTH client regarding their wishes and must coordinate returning the cremains to the owner, either with the owner coming to the service providers
place of business or by shipping the cremains to the owner.

The University reserves the right to accept or reject any and all responses or parts thereof. Illinois Department of Human Rights
(IDHR) eligibility number is required on all proposals, if applicable.
Vendor may expect payment thirty to sixty days after receipt of invoice, unless otherwise stated in the bid documents.
The contract(s) for this solicitation could exceed $50,000 annually.
This transaction is subject to the State Board of Elections registration and certification requirements of Public Act 095-0971.
