Please note that in RFP 1MKG906, under 3.6 Evaluation of Proposals, Technical-Workforce Development Innovation requirements have been modified:
  • Extensive knowledge of the Workforce Inventment Act (WIA) legislation and regulations and the implementaion of WIA at the state and local Workkforce Investment Area (LWIA) levels, including the role and functions of state workforce investment boards.
  • Extensive knowledge of the organization and work of the Illinois Workforce Investment Board (IWIB), expecially the reports and recommendations of the IWIB Task Forces.
  • Extensive knowledge of regional sector initiatives in state workforce development initiatives and some knowledge of regional sector initiatives linking workforce development, education and economic development in Illinois including the Critical Skill Shortages Initiative (CSSI) and Shifting Gears.
  • Extensive knowldge of using WIA data resources and related state data resources in monitoring and evaluating the use of state and local WIA funding in sector-based initiatives and other related workforce innovation projects.

Vendor may expect payment thirty to sixty days after receipt of invoice, unless otherwise stated in the bid documents. Proposal documents may be obtained by contacting the Purchasing Office. This procurement will be contingent on Board of Trustees approval. Illinois Department of Human Rights (IDHR) eligibility number is required on all proposals.

This transaction is subject to the State Board of Elections registration and certification requirements of Public Act 095-0971.
