The Materials Science and Engineering Department at the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign is seeking a modular cryogen-free vector magnet system that provides variable high magnetic fields (of at least 2 T) in arbitrary directions and at least 9 T in one direction. The system will have a room-temperature measurement space of at least 50 mm diameter with an additional low temperature measurement inset that enables transport measurements from 2 - 375 K using measurement frequencies up to 65 GHz.
