University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign
Announcement of a Sole Source Purchase
Vendor: MathWorks Inc.
Change Order Amount: $108,000
The current WebStore MATLAB distribution model allows staff/faculty to download/install the product on personal machines but does not allow this functionality for students. Students currently must run MATLAB through the CITRIX Virtual application service that requires students be connected to the internet and this purchase will allow students to download/install MATLAB to their personal machines and use the product without a continuous internet connection. Additionally, we purchase several toolboxes annually and the initial amount of sole source did not account for this need.
The Chief Procurement Officer for this procurement is now John Donato.
