The purpose of this RFP is to identify a variety of professional environmental and technical service providers that will be used on an as-needed basis. The Division of Safety and Compliance, Environmental Compliance Section (ECS) is responsible for ensuring that the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign maintains compliance with all applicable Federal, State, and local environmental regulations. Due to limited personnel resources or workload demands, ECS is occasionally unable to adequately address all University environmental issues. Consequently, ECS periodically needs the services of a professional environmental consulting firm to supplement its efforts. The quantity and delivery date of such services are not fixed until such time as the services are required.
The University will hold an optional pre-proposal conference and conference call/meeting at the Physical Plant Services Building, 1501 South Oak Street, Champaign, IL at 3:00 p.m. on July 31, 2008 in Room 128. Representatives of the University will be present to answer any questions regarding the requested services or proposal procedures. This will be the only opportunity to ask questions about the requested services. Prospective proposers must respond to Ms. Eliana Brown (217) 265-0760 (brown12@uiuc.edu) on or before July 30, 2008 with firm name and number of attendees and/or whether the firm will be attending in person or via teleconference. Please download the RFP document and familiarize yourself with the requirements prior to this date.
