The University awarded a contract for On-Site Maintenance Services to Silicon Graphics, Inc., Schaumburg, IL, for an estimated $250,000 per year.
Only the manufacturer, SGI, is authorized to maintain these high-end systems. At the sole option of the University, this arrangement includes the option to renew for nine annual periods.
