for assistance with commercialization of technologies developed by the University.

The Office of Technology Management is responsible for licensing out University- owned intellectual property. In order to determine the commercial potential of these technologies and to ascertain markets for the technology, consulting services may be required from time to time which may include: screening evaluations; in-depth technology assessments including expert interviews and identification of potential licensees; development, design, and execution of marketing plans and materials; negotiation of license business and financial terms; licensee auditing; technical writing; and development of material for OTMs web site.

The University is also seeking law firms to provide legal advice and assistance relating to technology transfer and licensing contractual matters at its Urbana campus. Law firms who can offer assistance with these types of services are asked to respond to RFP G410 that is available at the same web site from which this document was down loaded.
