for an OC-3 SONET circuit from the Urbana-Champaign campus to the Chicago campus (Bid # K212). The Computing and Communications Services Office (CCSO) of UIUC would like to acquire an OC-3 SONET circuit from Urbana-Champaign campus to the Chicago campus for the purpose of connectivity between campuses. Our primary goal is to acquire a one to three year contract for this circuit. UIUC's current leased circuit's contract will expire in September, 2001. CCSO is looking for a data communications vendor that can provide UIUC with an OC-3 SONET circuit that must be a highly reliable connection since it will include traffic for critical University administrative applications.

The Bid/RFP document will be available for downloading. If it is not immediately available (download icon not showing), please check back.

The University reserves the right to accept or reject any and all bids or parts thereof. Vendor may expect payment thirty to sixty days after receipt of invoice, unless otherwise stated in the bid/RFP documents. Contingent on Board of Trustees approval. Bidding documents may be obtained by contacting the Purchasing Office. Illinois Department of Human Rights (IDHR) eligibility number is required on all bid proposals.
