for a 2 teraflop symmetric multiprocessor (SMP) cluster (Bid # L403). This minimum 2 teraflop (TF) symmetric multiprocessor (SMP) cluster will be used by the National Center for Supercomputing Application's (NCSA) applications community as a production resource. The systems must incorporate the most current available technology in the areas of processors, memory architecture, system reliability and redundancy, operating systems, system management, compilers, mathematics libraries, debuggers, profiling tools, file systems, and batch queuing system. This clustered SMP system must be able to deliver a large fraction of peak performance to a diverse set of scientific and engineering applications currently in use by the national user community. The code development and production environments must be robust and support the testing, debugging, and execution of the applications in a stable, predictable, repeatable manner across the machines in the cluster.
Illinois Department of Human Rights (IDHR) eligibility number is required on all bid proposals.
