for a grant proposal development and award tracking system.

The Board of Trustees of the University of Illinois, on behalf the Office of Business and Financial Services, the Offices of the Vice Chancellors for Research at Urbana-Champaign and Chicago, and the Office of the Provost, Springfield, is seeking proposals from qualified firms to provide an integrated electronic proposal development and award tracking system. The proposed solution must be for an existing product that requires little modification to implement into the University system. The new electronic proposal development and award tracking system sought by the University is expected to meet the emerging federal requirements for electronic commerce in grants administration, as well as to improve the efficiency and functionality of the University's current proposal development and award tracking processes.

The University's principal focus for software selection in this effort is to purchase a system that will facilitate proposal development, electronic submission, and award tracking, including capture of award data.
