The University awarded a contract for IHWAP Training to Paul Knight, Domus Plus, Oak Park, IL, for an estimated $89,850.
This purchase is only economically available from a single source because the Illinois Home Weatherization Assistance Program (IHWAP) training classes are short in duration (less than 20% of a full-time position) and require training and technical assistance for program staff regarding the technical program elements of the program. The courses were developed by the instructors, under the guidance of IHWAP. The instructors meet the needs of the training program and the Building Research Council's contractual obligation to IHWAP's sponsor.
