Request for Professional Services Qualifications (QBS): Architectural/Engineering Services

Qualifications and supporting materials will be accepted at the address below until 2:00 PM, Monday March 4, 2002:

Western Illinois University is seeking architectural/engineering services for the renovation of Bayliss/Henninger Halls. Design services are required for the renovation of two existing 14-story residence halls. Construction work will include miscellaneous demolition, painting, new casework, exterior sealant replacement, and window hopper replacement. The selected architect will assist the owner in identifying scope of work within budget and time constraints. Total project budget is approximately $2,000,000.

Submittal of qualifications must include: 1. A copy of C.D.B. prequalification; 2. Standard Form 255; 3. Examples of projects of a similar nature, inlcuding project estimates and actual construction costs. Provide an owner contact person for each example; and, 4. Additional information you feel may be useful.

Three copies of submittals should be sent to: William Brewer, Q.B.S. Committee, Western Illinois University, Physical Plant Building, One University Circle, Macomb, IL 61455. Submittals must be received by 4:00 p.m. on March 4, 2002.
