Western Illinois University - Quad Cities campus' public television station WQPT operates its program service through an agreement that outsources the master control operation to an outside agency. That agreement will expire on June 30, 2019. WQPT needs to maintain a seamless program service to the Quad Cities communities, and is seeking bids for master control and program signal delivery to its transmitter in Orion, Illinois (2880 N 1100 Ave, Lynn Center, IL 61273 in Henry County) that will provide these services for up to the next seven years.
A non-mandatory pre-bid conference call will be held Wednesday, January 30, 2019, at 9:00 am CST. Interested bidders can call-in at 309-298-3680. (NOTE: The conference call has been rescheduled per Addendum 1)
