The amount shown is estimated and is dependent on the University's needs. Chillers will not be rented unless the University has cooling system failures. Pricing from low bidder for first week of rental (includes base bid, alternate A, and alternate B - acceptance of other alternates will depend on installation site requirements) - $22,560 (550 ton chiller), $17,621 (400 ton chiller), $16,026 (250 ton chiller).
The University award process may be delayed up to thirty days as this award goes through a state approval process.

In anticipation of cooling system failures, WIU is seeking bids for the rental of portable chillers. The University cannot determine if there will be a need for the rental of portable units or which building's system may fail. The amount of the award will be estimated and will be dependent on the University's needs.

The University reserves the right to accept or reject any and all responses or parts thereof. Vendor may expect payment thirty to sixty days after receipt of invoice, unless otherwise stated in the bid documents.
