Project Description
The University is seeking design services and construction administration for the following projects: upgrades to science lab and classrooms at Currens Hall including fumehood and ventilation work (estimated $1.5M); art department safety upgrades at Heating Plant Annex including HVAC, bathrooms, and layout changes (estimated $790,000); chiller replacement at Bayliss/Henninger/Tanner Halls (estimated $1.2M); other mechanical maintenance items including chiller replacement at Simpkins Hall and air handler upgrades for Morgan Hall (estimated $525,000). The selected firm will provide review documents, construction documents, and during the project construction administration.

Only those firms which meet the following qualifications will be considered:
  • Submitted 3 copies of their qualifications.
  • Licensed to practice as an architect, landscape architect, or engineer in the State of Illinois.
  • Registered and authorized to do business in the State of Illinois.
Selection will be consistent with the Architectural, Engineering, and Land Surveying Qualifications Based Selection Act (30 ILCS 535/1).
