Western Illinois University awarded a contract for environmental consultant in the estimated amount of $50,000 on Friday, July 19, 2002 . Immediate action was required to ensure the public's health as well as minimize disuption of services in the residence hall. The University contracted with a firm to provide air quality testing. However, due to the number of rooms to be tested, the University has found it necessary to contract with an additional firm.
